And We Will Dance has been honored by being selected for sponsorship by the San Francisco Film Society. The Society's sponsorship not only is an endorsement of the project, but enables And We Will Dance to accept charitable, tax-deductible donations from individuals and charitable organizations and foundations, as well as tax-deductible advertising placements from businesses. Recently, a "short" capturing the story of how director Steve Childs came to shoot the documentary has been submitted to a YouTube/Sundance Film Festival competition exclusively for "shorts".

As set forth in the Sponsorship/Donor Levels below, with your donation, you have the opportunity to not only sponsor the film and receive opening single frame credit for you or your company, but also to acquire a "Ballet" painting done by Steve Childs. Individual patrons can choose to financially participate for as little as $25.00 and can get their name on the rolling credits of the film, along with other premiums, for a donation of only $100.00 or more. Corporate sponsorship begins at $200.00. We know that any donation you choose to make will be meaningful to the film and we believe that it will be meaningful for you. We have completed the filming and production of the film and have recently submitted a "short" to a YouTube/Sundance Film Festival competition exclusively for "short films". Our current plans are to complete post-production for the film And We Will Dance in the spring of 2009. At that time we will submit entries to numerous film festivals throughout the country as well as internationally. We plan to later distribute the film on DVD and over the Internet. We have been approached by and will approach public and other television stations. Based on information gathered thus far, we believe that the audience for these venues is broad and very interested in the arts.
