I lost myself in the film and was able for that hour or two to just sit and watch and enjoy what seemed to me the simple beauty of bodies moving and lives being lived.
The film was as passionate as the dancers you paint. I enjoyed it immensely. It has touched me and made me miss dancing again more than I can say but it also made me remember how I lived and breathed for it while that time of my life exited. Thank you.
Steve! What an excellent film, I truly enjoyed every minute. I loved how there was so much action and interesting angles on the dancers, plus music, color...just how I might expect the cinematography to be in a documentary produced by a visual artist. Thank you for making the film and giving more exposure to the understated (in my opinion) work and passion in the ballet world.
"Most say they don't want the film to end after the 70 minutes." Couldn't agree MORE!
Outstanding testimonials to the arts, my alma mater!!! MORE LOVE, beautiful, I am so proud!
I enjoyed that so much last night....just the pure artistic expression was fabulous. I especially liked the painting that came alive with the dancer....cool!!
The Trailer was a poetic expression, the fuller DVD was more poetic documentary, which enlarged your message
How totally innovative of you to meld these images into such movement, such force. I have thought so often that what the world needs today is someone who will show us how to SEE differently. I think you do that perfectly.
The DVD re-awakened something in me underneath the minutia of acquired 'adultisms' to the stunning beauty of being totally vulnerable to the elegance of movement and line and color...So I commend you on some deeper level for activating this challenge to expand your art, embed it within dance. You activated tremendous energy and the creativity that emerged was stunning.
